We currently wish to recruit a full time Bicycle Mechanic/Sales Assistant to join our new and expanding busy E-bike division.

Key Duties/Responsibilities include but may not be limited to:

• Cycle repairs and servicing including new bike builds.
• Customer liaison and sales including advising and recommending products and services.
• Stock maintenance and control.
• Showroom product merchandising.
• Maintaining a smart, safe, and tidy workshop, showroom and warehousing space.
• Ensuring accurate admin records are kept of all workshop repairs and customer communications.
• Being familiar with Shimano STEPS & Di2 technology.
• Taking part in the admin / organization of demo events.

Essential Criteria:

• Excellent communications skills, ensuring consistently high standards in customer service and sales.
• GCSE Math and English grade C or above (or equivalent)
• Knowledge of bicycle parts and accessories
• Knowledge of bicycle clothing
• 1-2 Years’ Experience in bicycle repair
• Experience of bicycle sales - desirable
• Experience of building wheels - desirable
• Cytec Qualification - desirable

Salary Range: £20k to £25k per year depending on experience.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Saturday (5 days, rotating day off during the week)

Experience:

• Cycle Mechanic: 1 year (Preferred)
• Retail Sales: 1 year (Preferred)
